Students are introduced to basic examples within the context of three-dimensional designs leading to architecture. A variety of techniques are explored throughout the module including problem solving of functional, formal and expressive issues. Students are encouraged to think and explore ‘outside the box’ of the two major components that are the natural and built environments. Students undergo a series of lectures, study trips and studio-based exercises governed by the Built Environment
IMPORTANCE OF ENBE
An Architect is not one unless he or she knows the value of nature and applies it into their designs and functionality. I believe it is vital that we all be mindful and aware of the natural environment and do as much as we can to preserve it and apply it into our work. Hence why ENBE is an important subject as it teaches us the importance of nature to us not only as Architects but as human beings.
